Grammy-nominated vocalist and songwriter Kim Richey came onto the music scene in the 1990s and entered her first recording contract at the age of 37. She recorded 8 highly acclaimed studio albums, has worked with numerous top tier producers and collaborated with country music greats Trisha Yearwood, for whose song “Believe Me Baby (I Lied)” Richey received a Grammy nomination, and the legendary Reba McEntire.
Her latest studio album Edgeland was released March 30, 2018, and produced by Brad Jones. It includes three different tracking bands of Nashville’s roots players, and for those unfamiliar with Richey’s impressive body of work, this album invites a deeper listen. And if it inspires a longer journey back through her entire catalog, that will be a ride worth taking.
